Thanksgiving Trip - Chicago

Pictures have been collecting on my computer so I finally found some time to catch up on blog posts. Here is one from last month. We took a trip back to the Midwest for Thanksgiving this year. We spent 11 days in Illinois and only saw about 2 hours worth of sunshine the whole time we were there. Still - we had a great time with family and friends. The kids managed to stay healthy this trip and we were able to do a bunch of fun things with them. We found a great Groupon deal for the Circus, went to see a few movies and had some nice dinners out with friends. The kids have been missing everyone since we've been back home and can't wait for our next trip.

 We plan to start potty training soon. Reid loves to practice 

sitting on the toilet - hopefully that is a good sign.

We know how to travel in style - our rental car, the Chevy Aveo. The guy at the car rental thought Ryan was crazy and that we would never be able to fit our family of five in there. I think he gave us the smallest car on the lot so that we would have to pay for an upgrade. Ryan was determined to prove him wrong - so here we are - packed to the brim.
