We've spent the past few weeks getting into the holiday spirit. The kids have enjoyed putting up the Christmas tree, reading Christmas stories, making cookies and decorating their gingerbread house. It has been so fun watching Kyla get into all the Christmas activities this year. She seems so mature for her age and I know alot of it has to do with her just wanting to do EVERYTHING Ryland does. And Reid will be joining them soon enough as he just loves watching them and is soaking it all in.

Ryland playing Santa with Reid as his reindeer.Ryland had his Christmas program at school a few weeks ago. He was thrilled to get the part of one of the reindeer's - "Cupid" but when it was showtime he seemed to get a little stage fright this year. Unfortunately he looked more like a deer caught in headlights :) Afterwards he ate about about a dozen cookies and waited in line to see Santa. He had a really deep conversation with Santa where he asked for a light saver (light-saber) and a bike for his sister - how cute is that.
