The Dangers of Curiosity

When your child finally discovers that he can fit things in his nose - you have to start to worry. The other day Ryland came to us whining and pointing to his nose saying "Play dough" and sure enough, he shoved play dough in both nostrils. We were able to fish most of it out and he ended up blowing the rest out - and almost popping his eardrum in the process. It was amazing to see how much he was able to fit in there. Just goes to show you that you can never leave a toddler alone for longer than 5 minutes. You'd think we learned our lesson. The following day - we discovered him in our bedroom with foundation all over his legs and clothes. He had gotten a hold of my make-up and made a huge mess all over himself and the carpet. That was fun cleaning up! Sigh - I know this is only the beginning and here we are throwing another little one into the mix.

Below are a few new pics of Ryland. We took him for an 8-mile bike ride this morning through the Granite Dells - it was gorgeous. I think I may have overdone it though in my pregnant state - we'll see tomorrow morning :)
