Fall Activities

I am finally getting around to posting a few pics of our fall activities this year. In the beginning of the month, we took the kids to fair in town. As usual, they were able to see a bunch of animals and ride some carnival rides. Kyla pretty much takes the lead - she has no fear and will go on any ride. Ryland on the other hand would normally be too timid - but follows along an ends up loving it. Reid had fun people watching and seeing all the animals as well. He is still not saying any words other than "uh-oh" and "hi" but likes to point everything out and seems to understand everything we say. He has developed quite a temper and screams when he doesn't get his way and on the particular night he didn't want to sit in the wagon - so that was fun.

We had some friends over a few weeks ago to carve pumpkins with the kids. The kids loved making a mess, getting their hands dirty, and scooping out pumpkin seeds. Reid was so fascinated with everything. He thought it was great that we allowed him to sit on the table and kept licking the pumpkin seeds and making "gross" faces.

Kyla and Ashleigh

This is what Kyla thought about putting her hands in the pumpkin.

Ryland and Kyla have been wanting to paint bird houses for the longest time. Here are a few pictures of them hard at work and their final masterpieces.
