One Week Old

It's been a week since Reid was born and we are all slowly transitioning to a family of 5 over here. Luckily Reid is still sleeping alot during the day so it hasn't been too difficult but I can definitely see the challenges that lie ahead.

So far the kids have been LOVING having a little brother around. They both can't get enough of holding baby Reid and giving him kisses. Kyla enjoys covering him up with blankets and collecting all his binkies while Ryland is more into looking up his nose with a magnifying glass and playing with all his settings on his swing.

Reid has been doing great at night - giving me 3-4 hour stretches of sleep at a time. Typically the beginning of the night is the worst - getting him to go to sleep initially but we've found that the swing works great. During the day he's been still sleeping alot but is slowly starting to open his eyes more and look around. We try to keep him out with us during the day in hopes that the kids will keep him up somewhat with all the noise they make but he sleeps right through it all - it's amazing.
