Easter Egg Hunt & Hot Tubbin'

This is how quickly our weather fluctuates here in Prescott. This morning we went to our annual Easter egg hunt where we typically have to bundle up and battle the gusty winds as it's now officially our "windy season." This year proved to be right on target - we bundled up - coats and hats and went out to get some Easter eggs. The kids loved being out, petting the animals in the petting zoo and getting their Easter egg treats. Later that afternoon - we spent some time playing outside and in the hot tub. The weather was gorgeous - blue skies and sunshine all around. There aren't too many good pictures - there was definitely too much going on and the kids would barely look at the camera. And at 37 weeks pregnant - it's hard to get on their level and run around after them.

Ryland is becoming very anxious for his baby brother's arrival. He will frequently tell me how excited he is and how he can't wait to meet him. It's fun that he is at a stage where he can understand. After being off for Spring Break - he is back at school and had is first presentation this week about his pet fish - EMO. I really can't picture him standing in front of the classroom giving a presentation but his teachers said he did great. We have really started to take notice lately at how much Ryland is growing up. He is such a smart and loving little boy.

Kyla is still her busy little self - with a little bit of attitude :) She is quite the drama queen and knows what she wants - when she wants it. She is into climbing, reading stories, eating, and playing tackle with her older brother and daddy. Her vocabulary is expanding and she is finally calling Ryan "daddy" instead of "mommy" - well most of the time. She can make all her animal sounds and can sign a few things such as "please", "thank you" and "more". She is definitely a mommy's girl and cries every time I leave the room. I can already sense there will be some jealousy when the baby comes but at the same time she LOVES babies and I know she'll enjoy being hands on when it comes to taking care of her baby brother.

Attached is also a recent pregnancy pic at 37 weeks.
