Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

We can't believe Thanksgiving has already come and gone - and now we're on to Christmas. We put up our Christmas tree on Friday so that we could enjoy it a little bit before our big trip to Chicago this next week. We're looking forward to going back and catching up with family and friends that we haven't seen in awhile.

So...back to Thanksgiving. We had such a good weekend with our family and are sad to see them go home again. Back to California and Colorado - I'm not sure which one I'd prefer to go back to at this point, skiing or sitting on the beach, both sound pretty nice. Being here in Prescott is not all that bad either :) We didn't have the greatest weather over the holiday, but we still managed to have a good time being indoors. We ate lots of food, sat by the fire, played some games and ate some more!

Ryland was so excited having everyone around and staying up WAY past his bedtime every night. He was so spoiled and entertained the whole weekend. He loved walking around in his new cowboy hat, eating cranberries and playing LCR (for money of course).

Kyla was more behind the scenes all weekend. She slept alot! When she was up - she was also spoiled being held all the time by her Aunts Megan and Gina and Uncle Peter. One cool thing - she discovered her hands and is desperately trying to get her thumb in her mouth. It's amazing watching her during these little milestones.
